Big changes are underway at Bar Cicheti, the first of which starts by turning back the clock—in the best possible way. Our new menu is a delicious revival, bringing us back to our heydays where big, bold flavours took centre stage and freshly handmade pasta—our favourite medium—made it all the more irresistible.
Rediscovering the soul of pasta
Designed by chef co-owner Lim Yew Aun in collaboration with a mystery incoming head chef (we can't reveal who just yet, but mark your calendars for April when we announce his new position at our helm), our latest menu celebrates what a great pasta bar is all about—simplicity, bold flavours, and a delicious sense of authenticity. And of course, the wines that make you linger into the night.
Each dish remains unapologetically true to Bar Cicheti’s heart: freshly made pasta crafted with respect, finesse, and prepared with flavour-forward innovation. A few highlights we can’t wait for you to experience:
Bright and packing quite the bite, prosecco-compressed watermelon cubes are teased with salty-sweet ricotta salata in our Insalata di Anguria, finished with a savoury balsamic hazelnut dressing. The creamy Burratina from Puglia sits comfortably on a bed of pickled raisin puree. Cozze tosses juicy mussels with a fiery ‘nduja sauce and fresh scallions that sneak into every crevice of every shell.
Striking Linguine Nero tossed with succulent crab meat in an umami shellfish broth, finished with fragrant garlic, parsley, and umami-rich bottarga. Elegant parcels of Cappelletti filled with spinach and creamy ricotta, served in decadent burnt butter and crispy sage leaves—a timeless classic done our way. Curly ribbons of Mafaldine tossed in a hearty, robust mix of lamb, pork, and spicy chorizo that, finished with generous shavings of pecorino romano, tastes like a glorious cheeseburger.
